Refresh your brand this Spring

Updated: Mar 22

At times, we become too occupied with our work to consider whether our brand truly represents our vision.

When conducting a brand evaluation for our own business, there are a few key elements to keep in mind.

  • Is our website effectively serving our needs? Is it up-to-date and accurate?

  • Is our social media presence working in our favor? Is it visually appealing and regularly maintained?

  • When was the last time we updated our contact list and conducted an email campaign?

  • Do we need to update our product and staff photos?

  • Is it time for a new commercial that better reflects our brand?

These are broad inquiries, so let's break them down further.

Website Refresh:

When you look at your website, does it accurately reflect your current business? We have come across business owners who have not updated their websites in over 20 years.

Even if your website is relatively new, it is recommended to refresh it on a quarterly basis.

This could be as simple as adding some new pictures to keep things interesting. Alternatively, more complex changes such as creating a new page for new services may be necessary.

Keeping it fresh is crucial.

Social Media Refresh:

Social media platforms are constantly evolving, making it a challenging task to keep up with the pace. How can you possibly stay on top of it all?

It can feel monotonous and creatively draining to come up with new content every day.

To combat this, you can create content in batches and schedule it in advance, or you can hire a professional team, like Mango Media, who specialize in keeping content creative, up-to-date, and engaging.

Email Marketing Refresh:

While email marketing may be time-consuming and seem daunting, it is not as difficult as it appears.

This medium can be effective and beneficial but it is important not to overwhelm your subscribers' inboxes.

You want your customer to see our brand without getting tired of seeing your name every day. It is recommended to send out one email campaign per week, with a maximum of two emails per week. This is typically sufficient to update your customers without exhausting them.

Product and Staff Photo Refresh:

In today's dynamic business environment, your products and team are constantly evolving. New features get added, talented staff joins the crew, and exciting developments are happening all the time. But are you capturing this energy online?

Now is the perfect time to review all of these platforms and ensure that everything is up-to-date.

If you find that you require a refresh in these areas, Mango Media offers professional photography services. As a MMPR client, you receive multiple photoshoots throughout the year to keep everything current.

New Videos and TV Commercial Refresh:

Simply telling people how great you are isn't enough anymore.

Today's consumers are bombarded with messages.

They crave visuals, stories, and an emotional connection.

That's where a brand new video or commercial comes in.

Mango Media Does... Summertown Highschool!

This month, we had the privilege of collaborating with students from Summertown High School, providing them with insights into the world of Public Relations.

We engaged with the Virtual Enterprise program, delving into topics such as graphic design procedures, the significance of color theory, the realities of owning a business, and guidance on how to embark on entrepreneurial endeavors.

Our day with Halle from Summertown High School was truly delightful! It began that morning at the Kids Place Chamber Coffee; followed by several productive hours at Co-Work Coffee, where we crafted advertisements and strategized. The team then savored a delicious lunch at Pat's Cafe and concluded the day by visiting clients to provide Halle with a comprehensive experience.

Our team thoroughly enjoyed sharing a glimpse of our work here at Mango Media with Halle. We eagerly anticipate future shadowing opportunities and the chance to collaborate with more high school seniors in their pursuit of discovering their passions.
